If you grew up in the 1980s or 1990s, there is a good chance that Pac-Man is a game you’re familiar with. Available in arcades and consoles, it was a very popular game to play back then, and even today we are still seeing developers releasing variants of it with new features, graphics, and more.
It looks like OnePlus has decided to get in the spirit too because the company has announced the OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition. We should point out that like most other limited or special edition phones, the hardware of this phone is not changed from the original OnePlus Nord 2, and that the changes are pretty much all external in the design of the phone and its accessories.
This means we can look forward to the same 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a 4,500mAh battery.
As for the external changes, the company has given the phone a glow-in-the-dark backplate which is actually pretty rad. There is also a Pac-Man themed silicone case, and there will be exclusive Pac-Man wallpapers, ringtones, and icons. OnePlus has also made some changes to the fingerprint and charging animations for that special Pac-Man look and feel.
Last but not least, it will also come with a copy of Pac-Man 256 preinstalled. The phone will be priced at €529 and is expected to go on sale on the 16th of November.
