Announced back in September, the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro is a rather interesting tablet in that it’s a true competitor to Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S7. We’ve bemoaned the point of Android tablets offering a frustrating experience, but big changes are on the horizon thanks to Android 12L.
Google has already confirmed that the first developer preview of Android 12L will be arriving for Pixel devices in December. We’re also expecting to see the likes of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 receive the update sooner rather than later. However, Google also confirmed that the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro will also be eligible for the developer preview.
If you’re a developer and have been on the fence about picking up a new tablet, now might be the best time to do so. According to 9to5Google, Android developers are receiving a discount code saving them 10% off of the Wi-Fi model. When checking out, enter ADSLENOVOP12 and you’ll be able to save a few bucks on one of the newest Android tablets.
As a reminder, the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro sports a 12.6-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the tablet is the Snapdragon 870 chipset, coupled with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. You can also use the tablet with Lenovo’s Precision Pen 3, while POGO pins on the back enable the use of a detachable keyboard.
Even though it’s been a couple of months since the tablet was announced, the Tab P12 Pro is still not officially available for purchase just yet. Luckily, the discount code for developers is valid until February of 2022, so you’ll have some time to grab one.
