Android 12 is an update that many handset owners have been looking forward to, and given that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are some of the latest phones from Samsung, it’s not surprising that they were among the first devices to get the update.
Unfortunately for some users, it seems that following the update, some of them are running into issues on their devices. This is according to user reports mainly out of South Korea in which some users claim that their devices were bricked after installing the update.
Some are also claiming that their devices entered into recovery mode after being updated, while other users are reporting issues like screen flickering, dark mode, slow performance, and the Dual Messenger feature not working with some apps.
It also seems that some apps are also no longer working following the update, such as Netflix and YouTube, while some are running into issues with their cameras, and images being deleted from the gallery. There are also reports that users are having their displays stuck on 60Hz and cannot take full advantage of the phone’s 120Hz display.
As a result of this, apparently Samsung has decided to temporarily halt the update to the phone while they sort the issue out. We’re not sure if other users in other countries have encountered similar problems, but if you do, know that you’re not alone.
