If you liked what the OnePlus 9 had to offer and you were interested in seeing what the company has to offer for its next-gen smartphone, you won’t have to wait much longer. This is because according to a post on Weibo by OnePlus co-founder and CEO Pete Lau, the handset will be launching in January next year.
Not much is known about the upcoming OnePlus 10 right now save for leaks and rumors, but the good news is that the January launch date means we won’t have to wait much longer to find out.
This includes how the phone is expected to come with faster charging speeds and how it is also expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Some leaked renders have also hinted at a redesign of the camera module.
That being said, keep in mind that the OnePlus 10 could be the company’s only flagship for 2022. With the OnePlus 9 series, the company decided to ditch the launch of the T-series, which they usually do and have been doing for the past few years. Hopefully this means that the company will make the OnePlus 10 a monster of a phone that will be good enough to tide users through to 2023.
Lau does not mention when exactly in January when the phone will be announced, so we’ll still have to wait one a specific date, so check back with us in the coming weeks for more details.
