In a move that comes as a bit of a surprise, OnePlus is revealing the design of the OnePlus 10 Pro. The phone has been highly-anticipated as it’s expected to become one of the best Android phones of the year. But in true OnePlus fashion, the company is offering a bit of a tease before fully unveiling what its latest flagship will bring to the market.
OnePlus has shared a couple of images of the 10 Pro, revealing the redesigned camera hump on the back. Instead of a vertically oriented camera hump, the OnePlus 10 Pro uses one that looks more like a square. We still have Hasselblad branding, as the OnePlus 10 Pro marks the third device to be tuned with Hasselblad’s camera prowess.
There’s a triple camera setup here, complete with a ring LED flash and the camera hump itself melts into the frame of the phone. Thankfully, OnePlus is keeping the mute switch around, something that only OnePlus and Apple seem to be fans of. Below that, we’ll have the power button, which is nestled just below one of the antenna bands.
As for the rest of the phone, the OnePlus 10 Pro will retain the company’s logo placed right in the middle on the back. It also seems that OnePlus is ditching the finger-print magnet glass on the back in favor of a frosted design. We’ll also be getting at least two different colors with what appears to be a matte black option, along with a new green colorway. The green is a bit brighter than what we’ve seen from OnePlus in years past, but we’re definitely fans of something other than just black or silver.
Finally, OnePlus is doing something else a little bit different, as the 10 Pro will first be made available in China. The phone will go on sale in China starting on January 11th, before it becomes available in more countries and regions. We’re still waiting on pricing information, along with specs, but those should be available in the coming days.
