OnePlus 10 Pro specifications revealed

0

Yesterday, OnePlus shared the design of its next flagship in the OnePlus 10 Pro. The company also revealed that the phone will launch in China starting on January 11th before making its way to more regions. However, we are just now learning about what the phone will offer in terms of specs and power.

OnePlus 10 Pro Specs

  • Display: 6.7-inches / LTPO 2.0
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1
  • RAM: 8GB / 12GB
  • Storage: 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.1
  • Front Camera: 32MP
  • Rear Cameras: 48MP + 50MP + 8MP
  • Battery: 5,000mAh w/ 80W SuperVOOC wired charging + 50W AirVOOC Wireless Charging
  • Software: OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12
  • Dimensions: 163 x 73.9 x 8.55mm
  • Extras: 120Hz Refresh Rate / Bluetooth 5.2 / NFC / Reverse Wireless Charging / Dual Stereo Speakers

As expected, the OnePlus 10 Pro comes in with a 6.7-inch display making use of LTPO 2.0 technology. With it, we have an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, but this will be more efficient than the LTPO displays that are currently found in the Android space.

Powering the handset is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, which will offer more power and better efficiency than last year’s Snapdragon 888. Paired with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

On the front, OnePlus is using a solid 32MP selfie camera, nestled in a hole-punch cutout. The 10 Pro marks the latest phone to get some love from the company’s partnership with Hasselblad, using a triple camera setup. This is headlined by a 48MP wide-angle lens and is accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide camera and an 8MP telephoto sensor.

Battery life should be pretty great considering that OnePlus is packing a 5,000mAh cell into the 10 Pro. This, paired with the 80W SuperVOOC wired charging speeds, should get your phone back up to 100% in no time. OnePlus is also bringing back its fast wireless charging, reaching speeds up to 50W, provided that you are using the correct charger. And for those times when you need to juice up your earbuds, reverse wireless charging is available.

Another obvious inclusion here is that the OnePlus 10 Pro is running OxygenOS 12, which is based on Android 12. The 10 Pro is the company’s first phone to be released with Android 12 in tow. Hopefully, this means we won’t have as many bugs to deal with as were found when the update began rolling out to OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro owners at the end of 2021.

OnePlus has still yet to provide pricing information, but we’ll be sure to update this post once it is made available.
