Nokia launches a bunch of new Android 12 smartphones that won’t break the bank

There are many smartphones in the market today, and as much as many people would love to own a high-end flagship, the reality is that these days, flagship phones cost more money than they did, say 5-6 years ago. This puts them way out of reach of many people, but Nokia is here to change that.

At CES 2022, the company has taken the wraps off several new Android smartphones. While these aren’t necessarily flagship quality, they are all priced under $250 and run on Android 12 which makes them very affordable for those who want a smartphone but don’t have the budget for higher-end devices or don’t want to spend that kind of money.

This includes devices like the Nokia C100. This handset is priced at just $99 and will be available from Tracfone. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Helio 822 chipset. Then there is also the Nokia C200 which is slightly more expensive at $119. This phone will feature a larger 6.1-inch HD+ display and is powered by the same Helio 822 chipset.

It will be accompanied by 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and has a 4,000mAh battery under the hood.

Moving up, we have the Nokia G100 priced at $149. It will sport a 6.5-inch HD+ display and will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 chipset. It features a triple camera setup, a fingerprint sensor in the power button, and is accompanied by a 5,000mAh battery, and will be available from both Tracfone and Boost.

Last but not least, there is the Nokia G400 which is priced at $239. It is powered by the SD480 4350 Pro and comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It is also 5G ready which makes the G400 one of the cheaper 5G smartphones in the market today.

There will also be a triple camera setup which consists of a 48MP main shooter, an ultrawide, and a macro camera. It also has a large display that boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and will be available from Tracfone, Boost, and Consumer Cellular.
