How to add Spotify music to Instagram Stories

Is there a song that you like that you want to share with your friends and family? You could always send them a link, but what if you wanted to publicize it in a bigger way? Then maybe you could share it on social media. In fact, if you use Spotify, you could actually share it to your Stories so that when people tap on it, they can listen to it if they have a Spotify account.

Sharing your Spotify songs to your Instagram Stories is actually pretty easy and can be done in a couple of steps, so if that’s something you’ve been wondering about, here’s how you can share your Spotify music to your Instagram Stories.

Share Spotify music to Instagram

1. Launch Spotify
2. Search and go to the song that you want to share
3. Tap the Share button located at the bottom right corner of the app
4. Select Instagram
5. Tap “Share To”
6. Select who you want to share it with like you would a normal Instagram Story
7. Tap on Share and you’re done

That being said, keep in mind that you can only do this from your phone. This sharing of songs isn’t available on the desktop, despite the fact that Instagram now allows users to post content from their desktop.

Also, the good news is that users don’t need to have a Spotify Premium account to share it either, so if you’re a free user you can still take advantage of this feature.
