Insta360’s next action camera is coming March 22 and it could change the game
There are plenty of options out there if you’re looking for a solid action camera, but Insta360 has been putting in the work as it attempts to overtake GoPro in terms of reliability and usefulness. For example, late last year, the company rolled out an update to the ONE X2 and ONE R making it easier to edit your videos.
The company is gearing up to launch its next camera, but this time, it seems that there’s going to be a bit more of a focus on versatility. Insta360 hasn’t shared much yet, other than the teaser trailer below. However, the tagline this time around is “built to adapt”.
This obviously could mean a variety things, but it wouldn’t come as much of a surprise if Insta360 introduced a camera that offered interchangeable lenses. By doing so, your camera could adapt to any situation, removing the need to have different cameras for different scenarios. That would really be a game-changer in the space and is really going to be an exciting release.
We can’t wait to see what Insta360 has been working on, and luckily, we won’t have to wait too much longer. The company has confirmed that its next camera will be announced on March 22, which is just a week away.
