Samsung Keyboard update will help users make fewer typos

0

Onscreen keyboards are terrible to use simply because they are so small. This is made worse if you happen to have large hands or fingers which can cause you to tap at more than one button at a time, plus the lack of tactile feedback makes it a rather weird sensation while typing on them.

More often than not, this can result in quite a bit of typos, but if you’re a Samsung user, there is some good news. Samsung has recently pushed out an update for the Samsung Keyboard app. This will bump it up to version 5.4.70.25 and will bring about several changes to the app.

One of those changes apparently will improve the keyboard where it will result in less typos when users type in specific keys. The company says that this is based on detailed feedback provided by users that has allowed them to tune the app in such a way that will supposedly reduce typos, but we have yet to try this for ourselves so your mileage may vary.

The update will also make some changes to the Suggest Text Correction feature which is now smarter and can be enabled or disabled on a per app basis. Then there are also improvements made to the UI to make it more consistent across the board, and last but not least, there are also bug fixes and improvements made to the Clipboard feature.

The update should already be live so do keep an eye out for it if you haven’t updated the app already.
