Google’s much-anticipated Pixel Watch has been leaked into oblivion, to the point where there are now hands-on photos of the device floating around on the internet. As more and more leaks and rumors appear on a weekly basis, new details regarding the upcoming wearable have been shared by noted tech informant Yogesh Brar.
Got some info on Pixel Watch from a relatively new source
1) Google Samsung partnership here as well.
2) Same sensors as Galaxy Watch (ECG & more)
3) new WearOS 3.1 build
4) 2 sizes, atleast 4 color watch bands.
5) Limited release, priced between $300-400— Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) April 27, 2022
According to a post on his social media page, a new informant has specified that the Pixel Watch will also feature a partnership between Google and Samsung, and will even come with several sensors seen on the latter company’s Galaxy Watch devices. Additionally, the device will come in two different sizes, and will be pre-installed with Wear OS 3.1 on release.
One particular detail that was mentioned though is the Pixel Watch’s pricing and availability. The informant claims that the device will be priced between $300-400, and that it will be a “limited release.” If the Pixel 5a’s limited release in the US and Japan is any indication, this might mean that only a few select regions will see the Pixel Watch.
The Pixel Watch is Google’s first “official” wearable device, following the company’s purchase of Fitbit a few years back. It’s predicted that Google might show off the watch alongside the Pixel 6a in this year’s Google I/O, which is scheduled to be held on May 11-12.
