At Google I/O earlier today, the company unveiled its latest smartphone, the Pixel 6a. But it seems that’s not all the company was planning to show off because during the event, Google also teased the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, showing us what to expect from their next flagship devices.
Both the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro are expected to be officially announced later this fall alongside the Pixel Watch, which was also revealed at I/O, albeit without many details. The renders Google teased have indicated that the company is expected to stick to the current design (for the most part), save for the camera which now features a pill and circular cutout for the Pixel 7 Pro, and a pill cutout for the Pixel 7.
The renders also show off some potential new color options that users will be able to choose from when the phone launches, but we can’t be sure if this is all of it or if there might be more options at launch. The phones are also expected to ship with the next-gen Tensor chipset and Android 13.
Apart from that, not much else is known about the phone and what kind of new features and capabilities it could be sporting, so we suppose we’ll just have to wait until the official unveiling for the details. In the meantime, we actually like what we see in terms of the design and can’t wait for Google to launch it. In the meantime, what do you think of the new Pixel 7 and 7 Pro?
