Honor 70 series smartphones have been officially launched

If you’re looking for a new smartphone, then Honor might have you covered as the company has recently announced a bunch of new smartphones that are part of the Honor 70 series. The new models include the Honor 70, Honor 70 Pro, and the Honor 70 Pro+, and here’s what you can expect from them.

Starting with the base Honor 70 model, the phone will feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display and under the hood, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset can be found. It will come with 8-12GB of RAM, depending on the variant you choose, and will also range from 256-512GB of storage. There is also a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 54MP Sony IMX800 sensor, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor, with a 32MP camera on the front.

Moving up, there is also the Honor 70 Pro. Instead of a Qualcomm chipset, the Honor 70 Pro will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8000 chipset and will also be offered in 8-12GB of RAM variants, and will also go up to 512GB of storage. The Honor 7 Pro+ on the other hand will feature the use of the faster MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset.

Apart from the difference in chipset, both phones will come with a 6.78-inch OLED display and will also feature a triple camera on the back with a 54MP Sony IMX800 sensor, a 50MP ultrawide sensor, and will also sport an 8MP telephoto camera capable of 3x optical zoom.

According to Honor, the phones will be initially going on sale in China starting the 7th of June and will be priced at RMB 2,699, RMB 3,699, and RMB 4,299 respectively.
