Motorola’s strategy of releasing budget and mid-range Android phones all year round seems to be paying off, and it doesn’t seem like the company is slowing down any time soon when it comes to selling new smartphones. With that said, we might soon see a new Motorola mid-ranger, currently known as the Moto G62.
According to the leaked details, the Moto G62 will feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ display, and it’s predicted that the phone might feature an AMOLED panel with an in-display fingerprint reader, as well as a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it will likely run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480+ chipset, alongside 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage, and will be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery.
In terms of cameras, the Moto G62 will come with a triple-lens array on the rear panel, with a 50MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The front of the phone is reported to come with a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls. As for pricing, the G62 will be priced below €300, which puts it in lower mid-range smartphone territory.
At the moment, there’s still no formal announcement from Motorola, so buyers looking forward to this phone might have to wait a bit more until it’s officially released.
