How to pin posts and Reels to your Instagram profile
If you are an active Instagram user, there is a good chance that you post on the platform quite regularly. This means your best and favorite posts and Reels will not stay visible upfront forever as newer posts appear at the top. This is why Instagram has announced a new feature where users will be able to pin their posts and Reels to the profile.
This feature will work the same way pinned tweets work on Twitter and pinned posts on TikTok. These pinned posts will always stay at the top of your profile grid on Instagram. Any visitor to your profile will see pinned posts first and then as they will scroll down, they will be able to see the remaining posts in the order they were posted.
Pin posts and Reels to Instagram profile:
- Launch Instagram and open the profile to which you want to pin posts.
- Tap the post or Reel you want to pin and then the three-dot icon in the top right corner.
- Choose Pin to your profile option from the list of options.
- It will instantly pin that particular post to your profile.
This way, you can pin up to three posts and Reels to your Instagram profile. All pinned posts will appear at the top of your profile grid. Each post will also have a pin icon in the top right corner to show that they have been pinned. If you want to unpin a particular post or Reel, simply go to that post and tap the three-dot icon to select the unpin option.
