ZTE is no stranger when it comes to flagship phones, so if you’re looking for a new high-end smartphone to buy that won’t necessarily break the bank, ZTE’s got you covered as the company has since announced that the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra will be launching globally on the 21st of June.
The phone was initially announced back in May, but at that time it was only available in China. For those living in other parts of the world, ZTE has confirmed that the phone will be available on the 21st of June. This will cover North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific, and will see the phone priced starting at $799, which isn’t too bad considering the specs.
For those who missed the announcement in May, here’s a quick recap for you. The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra features the use of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, making it one of the most powerful smartphones in the market right now. It also features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with curved sides and a 120Hz refresh rate.
There is an under-display camera and fingerprint sensor, while on the back, the phone will pack a triple camera setup which consists of a 64MP “humanity” camera, a 64MP ultra-wide camera, and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera. The phone is also equipped wit a 5,000mAh battery with support for 65W fast-charging.
