While the pandemic isn’t quite over yet, the good news is that more countries are starting to open up for travel for tourism again. Most countries will also require that visitors be vaccinated (this will vary from country to country, so it’s best to check what the requirements are before you book your plane ticket and hotels).
So if the place you’re visiting needs you to show your proof of vaccination, you can always show them a digital certificate of your vaccination. This might be easier than saving a screenshot because it means you won’t need to scroll through all your photos to locate it, and if you’re on Android, here’s how you can save your vaccination card to your device.
There are several caveats to this method for Android, though. For starters, the results of your vaccination status needs to be available online, meaning that if your healthcare provider only provides paper copies, this won’t work.
Secondly, at this time of posting, the only countries that support this feature are:
So if you happen to live somewhere else, then this method won’t work for you either.
Once again, showing proof of vaccination will depend from country to country. For example, some countries will accept visitors that are unvaccinated but will require them to do a test and/or quarantine upon arrival, so make sure you do your due diligence before making any concrete travel plans.
