Genshin Impact’s Summer Fantasia Comes with New Updates

Genshin Impact fans, rejoice – an official announcement from the game has finally previewed the upcoming 2.8 update, also known as “Summer Fantasia.” The update is scheduled for release on July 13, 2022.

The update will include Sumeru, a new location which will feature a ton of new in-game environments, new outfits, and more challenges for players to enjoy. The update’s teaser description on the site reads:

“The height of summer is a wonderful time of the year, and there are always many strange, interesting events taking place. A cursed blade of unknown origin, a mysterious unsolved case, and the familiar but not too familiar islands far at sea… O seasoned warriors, fear not the depths of despair and death borne from chaos! For the Prinzessin, holiest of sovereigns of the kingdom where the night is sacred, will therefore declare the verdict of victory. And so, everyone followed the path of their destiny, ready to take on unknown encounters and challenges.”

In related news, MiHoYo has teased an upcoming action RPG titled “Zenless Zone Zero,” which will make its way to PC and mobile. A teaser video showing characters and a bit of story was also released by the studio, although no official launch date has been mentioned so far.
