One of the main reasons to get a Nexus handset back in the day was timely updates and a stock Android experience. These days, one of the appeals of getting a Pixel are features that Google have made exclusive to the phones, and one of those features is At A Glance that we’re sure many Pixel owners are familiar with.
Now according to a tweet by Mishaal Rahman, it looks like Google is working on bringing some new and useful features to At A Glance, one of which is the ability to integrate with ridesharing services such as Uber that will let users know the status of their rides.
The Pixel's At a Glance widget is preparing to add three new features:
– Cross-device timer to show timer info from Google Home devices
– Ridesharing service to show the status of your rides
– Food delivery arrival statusWill let you know when/if these start working. pic.twitter.com/rXVrqfoN0i

This means that in the future, instead of opening the Uber app to see the status of your ride or relying on notifications, you can simply glance (pun intended) at the At A Glance widget and see how long before your ridesharing car arrives at the pickup location. In addition to ridesharing integration, the update is also expected to introduce a cross-device timer that shows you timer info from Google HOme devices, and also food delivery arrival status.
Do take note that none of these features are live yet and we’re not sure when they are expected to launch, but it could be something that Pixel owners can look forward to in the future.
