When the Samsung Galaxy S22 series was first launched, Samsung offered the phone in a variety of different colors. But in case none of those colors appealed to you, then you might be interested to learn that the company could be planning on debuting a new color option as soon as next week for the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
This is according to a tweet by Roland Quandt who responded to a tweet by Ice Universe who initially suggested that the phone could be offered in a “lavender purple”. According to Quandt, the official name for the new color option will actually be called “Bora Purple” and he shared a sample of what that color could look like.
Let's just call it Bora Purple.
PS: yeah, that's the actual name (like the "Buds2 Pro") https://t.co/dSqbscaOO1

The Galaxy S22 Ultra is still a relatively new phone so introducing a new color option now seems about right, and could be a good way to attract users to the handset who might not have considered it before. Samsung is also no stranger to the color purple as some of the company’s other devices have launched with a purple finish, like the Galaxy Z Flip 3.
That being said, keep in mind that there’s a good chance it might not be available worldwide. Apparently it might only be available as an online-exclusive to certain regions, one of them being Indonesia, but we’ll have to wait and see how this plays out when the phone does eventually launch.
