Nokia Announces the T21, its Newest Tablet Yet

We’ve seen a revival of tablet devices lately, and various smartphone brands across the globe are once again releasing their own Android-powered slates, usually alongside a main roster of smartphones to keep fans and consumers happy. As such, Nokia recently announced its newest Android tablet, the T21. The device was revealed during IFA 2022 in Berlin, alongside other new devices in Nokia’s product lineup for 2022.

Built from glass and aluminum, the Nokia T21 comes with a 10.4-inch IPS display, a typical hardware trait of most midrange Android tablets nowadays. It features a 1200 x 2000 pixel resolution and scratch-resistant glass, and will come in a single “Charcoal Grey” color option. Additionally, the tablet will have splash-proof coating to add a bit of protection.

Inside the tablet is a UNISOC-branded Tiger T612 chipset, accompanied by 4GB of RAM, as well as 64 and 128GB storage options. There’s support for expandable storage, a nano sim slot, as well as an 8,200 mAh battery. The tablet comes with a pair of 8-megapixel front and rear cameras, and runs on Android 12.

The T21 succeeds Nokia’s “flagship” T20 tablet, which served as the company’s main tablet device for the past couple of years. Nokia does offer a more affordable tablet option with the T10, albeit at the cost of speed and performance.
