Samsung and Apple have a bit of a weird relationship. Both companies rely heavily on each other, where Apple needs displays from Samsung while Samsung needs the business from Apple. But at the same time, Samsung has not been shy at making digs at Apple’s products, and the iPhone is no different.
In a recently released ad titled “Buckle Up”, the ad takes many digs at Apple saying that heads will turn, just not towards the Cupertino company’s direction. They also highlighted how the Samsung Galaxy S22 has a 108MP camera, hinting at the rumors that Apple’s iPhone 14 could be using a lower-resolution sensor.
Lastly, they also talk about innovation and how this innovation won’t be coming soon to an iPhone. To Samsung’s credit, the last bit might hold some truth. This is because if the rumors of the iPhone 14 are to be believed, it is not expected to be a particularly massive upgrade over its predecessor.
This isn’t to say that the iPhone 14 will be a terrible phone, but for those who might have been hoping for something big and exciting, you might be disappointed. Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 14 on the 7th of September, 2022 and we imagine that more digs will be coming once all the official specs and features have been revealed.
