Apple unveiled its new iPhone 14s yesterday. Apple typically brings about major hardware changes every couple of iPhones, but the iPhone 14 doesn’t quite feel like the massive upgrade many were hoping for, especially for the non-Pro models which continue to use the same chipset as last year’s iPhone 13 models.
As much as Apple tried to dress it up with their fancy marketing terms and words, it’s hard to feel truly impressed with these changes. Seeing as we now live in the digital age, memes mocking the new iPhones quickly followed and hilariously enough, it looks like the daughter of Apple’s co-founder Steve Jobs decided to hop on board the meme train.
Eve Jobs shared a meme on her Instagram Story which basically mocked the iPhone 14. It showed a man wearing a burgundy checkered shirt holding a similar shirt he presumably received as a gift, with the caption saying, “Me upgrading from iPhone 13 to iPhone 14 after Apple’s announcement today.”
While Jobs did not create this meme, the fact that she shared it suggests that she might be sharing a similar sentiment that many are feeling regarding the new iPhone 14 models. That being said, we’re sure that despite the seemingly underwhelming upgrades, Apple will still probably go on to sell millions of iPhone 14 units, so it’s still money in the pockets of Apple at the end of the day.
