When OnePlus announced the OnePlus 10T, the company confirmed that the alert slider would be removed. According to the company, this is due to internal space constraints where adding the slider would cause the device to be thicker, something that OnePlus didn’t want to do with the phone.
For those who miss the hardware feature, you’re in luck because according to renders shared by @OnLeaks with Smartprix, it looks like the feature will be making a comeback in the upcoming OnePlus 11 Pro handset.
The publication shared fresh new renders of the upcoming phone which apart from the alert slider, also appears to sport a new camera design on the back. Instead of the boxy camera module, OnePlus will be going with a rounded camera module that appears to house three cameras along with a flash unit.
Not much is known about the OnePlus 11 series for now, but recent rumors have suggested that OnePlus could be planning yet another phone by the end of the year powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which some are speculating could be the OnePlus 11 series.
Either way, it’s still a good idea to take these renders and rumors with a grain of salt for now, but hopefully we’ll have more details in the coming months.
