When it comes to Android updates, Samsung is actually pretty timely with these sorts of things, but it looks like this year, the company was beaten out by the likes of OnePlus who released the stable Android 13 update for the OnePlus 10 Pro. But not to worry, Samsung is still expected to be pushing out the update soon enough.
According to a report from SamMobile, they have learned that Samsung will be releasing the Android 13 update to these phones by the end of the year. The handsets that will be receiving the update include all of the company’s flagship phones released in the past couple of years.
We’re talking about the Galaxy S21 series from 2021, the Galaxy S22 series that was released earlier this year, along with Samsung’s foldables like the Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and the Galaxy Z Fold 4. In a way it shouldn’t be surprising that these phones will receive the update, but it’s good to know that it could be in the next few months.
For those who don’t own a flagship handset, not to worry because apparently Samsung is eyeing bringing the Android 13 update to the mid-range Galaxy A53 by the end of the year. Now whether or not this actually happens remains to be seen, but hopefully we’ll have more details in the coming weeks and months.
