HTC Wildfire E Plus launched in Russia

0

HTC used to be one of the mainstays when it came to Android smartphones back in the day, but they have slowly faded into the background, resurfacing every now and then with a new phone, like the HTC Desire 22 Pro and the HTC A101 tablet.

Now it looks like HTC is back with yet another handset and this time it comes in the form of the HTC Wildfire E Plus. This is a budget smartphone and comes with budget specs to match. We’re talking about a 6.52-inch HD+ display and under the hood, a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 chipset can be found.

It also comes with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage that can be further expanded via microSD, and a dual camera setup on the back, but maybe don’t expect too much from it. It features a 13MP main camera and a 5MP macro camera, and a 5MP camera on the front. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that supports facial unlock, dual SIM, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, and it packs a 5,150mAh battery with 10W charging.

Last but not least, there is also a 3.5mm headphone jack, making this handset one of the few remaining handsets to continue to support the port. That being said, the HTC Wildfire E Plus is only available in Russia where it is priced at around $129. We’re not sure whether it will be making its way to other markets, so don’t hold your breath.
