An online post from the company’s official Twitter account mentioned several devices which are scheduled to receive Android 13. Starting with the Zenfone devices, the Zenfone 9 series will receive Android 13 this December, while the slightly older Zenfone 8 series will get the update later in January next year.

As for the ROG phones, Android 13 will be available for ASUS’ high-end gaming smartphones next year, with the update launching for the ASUS ROG Phone 6D, ROG Phone 6D Ultimate, ROG Phone 6, and ROG Phone 6 Pro in Q1 2023, while it will be available at later dates in Q2 2023 for the ASUS ROG Phone 5, ROG Phone 5 Pro, ROG Phone 5 Ultimate, ROG Phone 5s, and ROG Phone 5s Pro.
With that said, it’s rather encouraging to see more manufacturers roll out consistent software updates for Android devices, given that it was a point of contention regarding the mobile platform in the past. A few weeks ago, an Android 13 beta was also made available for the Zenfone 9, although this was only accessible for a select number of users.
