Earlier this year, ASUS unveiled their latest gaming smartphone in the form of the ASUS ROG Phone 6. It looks like the company is back with a new version of the phone, this time made in collaboration with Blizzard which has resulted in the ASUS ROG Phone 6 Diablo Immortal Edition.
For those unfamiliar, Diablo Immortal is the latest title from Blizzard which officially brings the Diablo franchise onto mobile devices. While the Diablo franchise is extremely popular, Diablo Immortal was met with huge backlash over its monetization system which made it confusing due to the different types of currencies, and the fact that it was almost like pay-to-win as players would be hardpressed to be able to find good quality gear if they weren’t willing to pay for gems.
That being said, if you are a fan of the Diablo series and Diablo Immortal, then this phone might be for you. Under the hood, the handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 which is accompanied by 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will also feature an exclusive Aura RGB logo with Diablo Immortal graphics with a Hellfire Red finish on the back.
There will also be exclusive Diablo themes, icons, animations, and sound effects. There is no word on pricing just yet, but it will be available from the ASUS online store starting on the 18th of November.
