WhatsApp introduced the ability in its mobile app for users to create polls, but if you’re someone who works primarily from their desktop or laptop and uses the WhatsApp app on their computer, we have good news.
According to a report from WABetaInfo, it appears that WhatsApp has started to roll out a new feature for its desktop app where users can now create polls. Like we said earlier, this was previously a feature only available on the mobile app, but now it is available on desktop as well.
As noted by WABetaInfo, the feature was actually in beta testing on the beta app for the desktop, but it looks like it is now ready for primetime as it is being rolled out to the public as we speak. The feature acts identically as the mobile version, where users can create a question and then create answer options that they can then post in a group chat or an individual chat.
Users will also be able to create up to twelve different options for participants to choose from. If you’re familiar with the polls feature on the mobile app then this feature shouldn’t be any different, so keep an eye out for this feature if it’s something that you find yourself using quite often.
