It’s finally 2023, which means we’re getting closer to a lot of new product releases for the year. This includes Samsung’s Galaxy A54, its much-anticipated follow-up to last year’s Samsung Galaxy A53. As such, a new set of rumored hardware specifications for the A54 have made their rounds online.

The specifications – courtesy of tech tipster Yogesh Brar – include a 6.4″ FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Samsung Exynos 1380 SoC alongside 6 or 8GB RAM, up to 128 and 256GB storage, and a camera set-up which consists of a 50MP main camera, accompanied by 12MP and 5MP sensors, as well as a 32MP front camera. Other specs include a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W charging, an IP67 rating, as well as an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.
Earlier, renders showing off the A54’s supposed design were shared online. The design is more reminiscent of the S22, with individual camera bumps as opposed to a larger camera island on the rear panel. The phone also has a more rounded appearance at the corners and a glossy back, evoking the appearance of its flagship sibling. Of course, nothing has been made official yet, at least until we get further word from Samsung, so fans should keep their eyes peeled for more news on the A54.
