Google’s Pixel 7 series phones are among some of the best Android hardware that we’ve handled, combining terrific photography with a pure version of Android, making for one efficient user experience. With that said, while they do come with impressive hardware styling with Gorilla Glass and metal all around the chassis, it’s undeniable that phones are still fragile pieces of tech, and one simple drop can (in some cases at least) severely damage your phone.
If you’re interested in getting some protection for your Pixel 7, then you might want to check out these cases from Incipio, a brand with extensive experience designing protective cases for different phone brands. Let’s get started!
First on this list is the INCIPIO Grip case, which is engineered to make handling easier when using your Pixel. The inner part of the case is padded with a flexible material to cushion your Pixel in case you drop it, while the outer shell is made from a combination of a polycarbonate exterior and textured sides (similar to a tire tread). The added material on the sides definitely keeps it feeling snug in-hand, and the camera cut-out doesn’t awkwardly stick out from the rear panel (unlike on other cases). Of course, there are cut-outs for the speakers, microphone, and USB-C charging port.
Additionally, it’s also designed to be durable with 14-feet drop testing. There’s also anti-microbial defense added, which according to INCIPIO reduces germs on your smartphone.
If you’re after something a bit slimmer, then the INCIPIO Duo Case might be more your style. Designed with a similar (albeit somewhat more ‘standard’) build to the Grip case, the Duo has smooth curves all over. It also comes with the same TPU lining inside the case, and the same cut-out designs for your Pixel 7’s ports. the big difference here is that the sides are smoother, lacking the grippy treads seen on its bulkier sibling. The matte finish on the external part of the case does help with handling though, and makes it grippier than other cases out there. The case has also been drop-tested (up to 12 feet), and like the Grip case also features anti-microbial protection.
In case you’d prefer something a bit more “light” on the eyes with a bit of color and flair, then the Kate Spade New York Defensive Hardshell case features a completely transparent design, with flexible sides and a solid rear panel that lets you see the design of your phone underneath. The flexible parts surrounding the edges of the case are just the right thickness to keep your device safe from bumps, all the while showing off the Pixel 7 inside the case.
