There are several foldable phones that we can look forward to this year, like Samsung’s Galaxy Z series, but if you’re not a Samsung fan and are hoping for more options, then perhaps the Motorola Razr 2023 could be another handset to look forward to. In fact, it could be arriving sooner than we think.
According to a tweet by Evan Blass (private account), the prolific leakster has revealed that the handset is expected to be announced on the 1st of June, 2023. As Android Authority points out, the handset is codenamed Juno, so a launch in June actually makes sense and could have been in our faces all along.
At the moment, not much is known about the handset, but the most recent leak has suggested that Motorola could improve on the outer display of the phone by increasing its size. The rumors claim that the outer display is now expected to cover the entire outer panel, meaning that it will now be larger and more functional than before.
Interestingly enough, this seems to have been spurred on by the launch of the Oppo Find N2 Flip which has a larger outer display. In fact, there have been rumors claiming that Samsung is also expected to upgrade the outer display of the upcoming Flip 5 handset. In any case, we’re still several months away from June, so hopefully more details of the phone will be revealed soon.
