Leaks Point to Three Galaxy Tab S9 Variants; Summer Launch Expected

it’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about a new Samsung Galaxy Tab model. The company’s last big release was the Galaxy tab S8 series, launched over a year ago. With that said, a lot of potential tablet buyers (us included) have been wondering if Samsung plans to release the Galaxy Tab S9 range this year, amidst the company’s relative silence on the matter.

As such, it looks like the new models will still arrive this year, at least according to some reports online. The folks over at Galaxy Club have claimed that Samsung will be launching the Galaxy tab S9 series with three different models within the range – these will include the base tab S9 model, a plus variant, and a Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra to round up the trio. According to the site, the device model numbers are as follows:

• Tab S9: SM-X710 (Wi-Fi), SM-X716B (5G Global), SM-X718U (5G US)
• Tab S9+: SM-X810 (Wi-Fi), SM-X816B (5G Global), SM-X818U (5G US)
• Tab S9 Ultra: SM-X910 (Wi-Fi), SM-X916B (5G Global), SM-X918U (5G US)

In terms of availability, it’s highly expected that the tab S9 series will be unveiled sometime in the summer of 2023 – do keep in mind that at this point, nothing is “official” until we get confirmation from Samsung, but given the amount of details in the leaks we’re rather hopeful that the S9 tablets might make an appearance soon.
