Last month at MWC 2023, Xiaomi announced its latest flagship phone, the Xiaomi 13 Pro. For those who might have been wondering if there could be another higher tier to the Xiaomi 13 series, we have good news for you because according to a tweet by SnoopyTech, they claim that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to launch in May.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be sold globally, but OPPO Find X6 Pro will not.

The handset was initially leaked last month and it was largely expected to be shown off at MWC, but that clearly did not happen. We’re not sure what could have been the reason behind the delay, but if this tweet is accurate, we only need to wait a couple more months before the handset is officially revealed.

A subsequent tweet by Ice Universe also claims that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be sold globally, but we’re not sure if the May launch will only be for China or if Xiaomi will launch it in global markets at the time of announcement itself, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
At the moment, not much is known in terms of the phone’s specs. The leaked image did reveal a new design to the back of the phone, along with a camera module with Leica’s branding on it. Given that it is expected to be a flagship, it’s almost safe to assume that it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and come with 8-16GB of RAM.
Either way, take it with a grain of salt and hopefully we’ll be able to get you all the official details in the coming months.
