A while back, we got word that Vivo might be working on its upcoming Vivo X Flip foldable, courtesy of some leaked specs online. With that said, it looks like the company is readying another foldable device for the market, albeit in a much bigger form factor.
To be more specific, leaks have appeared pointing to the Vivo X Fold 2, which was spotted in an AnTuTu benchmark listing online. While it is most certainly a larger device compared to the X Flip, it’s also rumored that it might come with a more powerful chipset in the form of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (versus the 8+ Gen 1 for the Flip). The device also bears the model number PD2266, and is rumored to come with a 2K resolution display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Other details include a 4800mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging support, a Sony 50MP IMX866 sensor in addition to 2x 12MP Sony IMX663 sensors, 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of internal storage, with Android 13 on board.
The benchmark listing shows that the device comes with a total score of 1,318,092 points, and a CPU score of 288,246 points, a GPU (Adreno 740) score of 579,982 points, the MEM (LPDDR5x + UFS 4.0) score of 256,004 points, and a UX score of 193,860 points. Of course at this point no launch date has been given, but we imagine that could change soon.
