NVIDIA has recently announced its newest addition to its RTX 40 series range, the GeForce RTX 4070 GPU. The company says that this new processing unit is aimed at users looking to get the most performance, including content creation, AI software, and gaming.
The GeForce RTX 4070 GPU comes with support for NVIDIA Studio technologies, as well as hardware acceleration that will come in handy for video, AI, and 3D projects. NVIDIA has also included support for Studio apps including Omniverse, Broadcast, Canvas and RTX Remix, to name a few.
The GeForce RTX 4070 comes with 12GB of GDDR6X VRAM with NVIDIA’s Ada Lovelace architecture, and is designed to be more power efficient using 23% less power compared to the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, including 3D rendering tasks in NVIDIA Omniverse. This bump in speed also carries over for users using the Stable Diffusion deep learning model, which NVIDIA says will be able to generate images conditioned on text descriptions 1.4x faster.
In terms of availability, the GeForce RTX 4070 is now available for purchase, and will be priced at $599.
