Freshly leaked Google Pixel Fold renders has us pretty excited!

Are you excited for Google’s Pixel Fold? We know we are, especially since it means that Google would have crafted an optimized Android experience for a foldable phone. The handset is expected to be announced next week, and now new renders are showing us what to expect.

These leaks come courtesy of Evan Blass (private account) who shared the renders on his Twitter account over the weekend. These renders more or less confirm what we have been hearing and seeing over the past few months, where Google is going for a more “traditional” look for the front of the phone.

This is versus other foldables like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 where the front of the device is more narrow, whereas with the Pixel Fold, it looks more like your typical smartphone form factor. The back of the phone is also in line with Google’s Pixel design language as far as the camera module is concerned.

As for its specs, not much is known about the phone right now. It is unclear if the Pixel Fold will be using Google’s Tensor chipset or if Google might have turned to the likes of Qualcomm. The phone is expected to be announced in full at I/O next week on the 10th of May, so we should have more details then.
