If you’re an avid Android fan, chances are you might be excited for the upcoming Android 14 update. The official release is not expected until later in the year, but for now, the developer preview is a pretty good indication of what we might be able to expect upon its release.
Now, the good news is that if you’re the owner of the Nothing Phone (1), it appears that the folks at Nothing have confirmed that they will be one of the first of Google’s Android partners to get access to the Android 14 beta.
This means that if you own the Nothing Phone (1) and you’re keen on taking the beta of Android 14 for a spin, you should be able to access it in the coming weeks. Take note that while the beta is an indication of some of the features and changes we can expect, it isn’t necessarily set in stone yet.
Google has famously shown off features in the developer preview only to remove it ahead of the official release, so don’t get too attached to any of the features just yet. Also, it might not be the best idea to use it as a daily driver either, since betas do contain bugs and some of your apps might not be fully compatible, but if you don’t mind, it might be something to look forward to.
