Oppo Find N2 Flip owners can now access the Android 14 beta

Samsung is probably the foremost brand most people think of when it comes to foldable phones, and while the company does boast a pretty decent portfolio of foldable phones, it seems that Oppo might have beaten Samsung to the punch on the software front of things.

The company has announced that the Oppo Find N2 Flip will be one of the first Android phones to be eligible for the Android 14 beta. What makes it interesting is that the Oppo Find N2 Flip will actually be the first foldable phone that will have access to the beta, putting them ahead of Samsung.

According to Oppo’s head of flagship products, Peter Dohyung Lee:

“OPPO Find N2 Flip sets a high bar for new flip smartphones. We have combined industry-leading engineering and innovation with intuitive design principles to create Find N2 Flip. Cooperating with Google, OPPO recently brought the Speech-to-Text feature to the cover screen of Find N2 Flip. Further with Android 14, we will continue to take foldable phones to new heights by combining cutting-edge hardware with unparalleled software.”

Keep in mind that as a beta, this version of Android 14 might not be as stable compared to the public release which is expected to take place later this year. You probably shouldn’t use it as your daily driver either as there might be bugs or incompatibility issues that you could run into, but if you’re interested in checking it out, you can download the beta from Oppo’s website.
