The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is one of the best Android tablets out there at the moment, but if you’re not willing to buy tech from last year and want something a bit more current, then you might want to hold out for the Galaxy Tab S9 which is widely expected to launch later this year.
Now thanks to renders by @OnLeaks shared with MySmartPrice, we have an idea of what the upcoming tablet could look like. The tipster along with the publication have shared renders of what appears to be the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, which will be the top-of-the-line model for the series.
In terms of design, it doesn’t appear that Samsung has done much to differentiate it from its predecessor, which is one of the more stylish Android tablets we’ve seen. The tablet is also expected to maintain the dual camera setup accompanied by an LED flash, and will also feature a speaker grill and a USB-C port on the bottom.
As for its specs, the Galaxy Tab S9 is rumored to come with a 14.6-inch display and configurations of up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is also expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, so it will be a powerful Android tablet. There will also be support for the S Pen and a slot on the back to store it.
Based on these specs and leaks, those who are still holding onto the Galaxy Tab S8 might not necessarily need to upgrade, but hopefully Samsung will announce some exclusive features that might make it an interesting device.
