When Google announced the Pixel Tablet, we have to say that we were underwhelmed. Not only is the tablet expensive, there’s really nothing about it that justifies its price given its specs and features, unless of course you’re a diehard Android fan and want to get the best Android/Google experience possible.
That being said, it seems that maybe Google could be working on some accessories that could make the tablet a bit more enticing. This is according to a tweet by tipster Kamila Wojciechowska, who made a couple of cryptic posts on Twitter alluding to a stylus and keyboard accessory for the tablet.

Wojciechowska does not specifically mention if these are accessories that are in development or if they were in development but cancelled. In a response to a tweet mentioning how these accessories weren’t released with the tablet, Wojciechowska said that despite delaying the tablet for an entire year (the Pixel Tablet was originally revealed in 2022), it’s apparently still “not finished” and that the accessories are apparently still in development.
That being said, we’re not sure how big a difference a stylus and keyboard accessory will make to the tablet. There are already plenty of third-party alternatives, but we suppose having first-party support is always better, especially if there are exclusive features involved. It is unclear if and when we will ever see these accessories, but it might be something to keep an eye out for.
