Samsung Releases Newer Update for Galaxy S21 Reboot Issues

While the Samsung Galaxy S21 is a pretty old handset at this point in time, Samsung has nevertheless remained consistent in providing updated software patches for its 2021 flagship. With that said, a second update has been issued arrived for the phone, which fixes reboots and freezing issues.

Weighing in at around 250MB, the new update comes with software version number G99xBXXU7EWE6, and brings fixes for security, stability, as well as the aforementioned issues for the Galaxy S21. An initial May 2023 update was released for the S21 series phones, but was not able to address the power issues that have been reported by users.

The update is now live for Galaxy S21 series devices in several regions including Austria, Greece,  Slovenia, Bulgaria, Hungary, the Netherlands, France, Poland, Italy, Switzerland, the UK, Romania, Slovakia, Luxembourg, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines,Thailand, Spain, Germany, and the Czech Republic.

To check if your device can download the newest update, simply head into Settings > Software Update > Download and Install to check if your device is eligible for the latest system update.
