The social media landscape is one that is constantly evolving. It used to be that social media was primarily about photos, but these days it has become more video-centric. We’ve also seen how companies have changed their video strategies from long-form content to videos lasting for a few seconds or a minute.
To keep up with the times, Google has recently released a bunch of YouTube shorts that basically advertise its brand new Pixel 7a and Pixel Fold devices. These videos basically have an iPhone “speaking” to one of Google’s new Pixel phones and where Google subtly tries to imply how their phones are better.
It’s kind of cute, we’ll have to admit, but at the same time it’s also a little cringey to see Google go this far to push its new devices. We can’t really blame them though, Google is a business after all and their goal is to make money, so we imagine they’ll do whatever it takes to help promote their new phones and the Android operating system.
If you have a few minutes to spare, you can check out the videos on Google’s YouTube page, or watch the one embedded above if you don’t have the time.
