While Samsung’s midrange lineup is now dominated by the Galaxy A54, the company has nevertheless remained consistent in providing updated software patches for its older Galaxy A handsets. As such, a new update has finally arrived for European versions of the Samsung Galaxy A52s, which features the latest July 2023 software patch.
The new update comes with software version number A528BXXS4EWG1, and is now available for users in Poland, although we could see it very soon for more European countries. Weighing in at 260MB worth of storage, the new update brings some fixes for security and stability issues for the A52s.
Launched a while back, the Samsung Galaxy A52s was one of Samsung’s many A-series handsets, which are meant to compete in the mid-range smartphone segment against phones like Google’s Pixel “A” smartphones, and came with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset. The phone has since been replaced by Samsung’s latest A5xx series model, the Galaxy A54, which was launched earlier this year.
To check if your device can download the newest update, simply head into Settings > Software Update > Download and Install to check if your device is eligible for the latest system update.
