A recent rumor had recently claimed that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra could use a new titanium frame, but it seems that isn’t all Samsung is changing in the Galaxy S24 lineup. The latest rumor from tipster Ice Universe, for the Galaxy S24 and S24+ models, we could be seeing a reduction in the bezel size.
This means that we could see an increase in the screen to body ratio of the phones. As for the Ultra model, apparently that might not change as the tweet claims that the overall design language for the Ultra model will be similar to the Galaxy S23 Ultra, save for the use of the titanium frame.
I have enough news that S24/24+ has changed some design details and will realize a narrower bezel. However, the overall design language of S24Ultra is still the frame design of S23 Ultra.

What’s interesting about this is that the design elements of Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series seems to be similar to that of Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 models that will be launching this year. For example, the iPhone 15 is also rumored to use a titanium frame, and another rumor also claimed that the bezels on the iPhone 15s will be thinner.
We’re not saying that Samsung is copying Apple (or Apple is copying Samsung) and that both companies will have phones that might end up looking identical, but it’s interesting to see two of the biggest smartphone companies in the world could be heading down similar-ish paths in terms of design and material choice.
