Apple is expected to launch its new iPhone 15 models this year, and now we know when that will happen. The company has confirmed on its website that they will be hosting an event on the 13th of September at 10AM PT.
While Apple did not explicitly mention the iPhone, seeing as there’s not much else left to announce, it’s pretty much a guarantee that this event will focus on the brand new iPhone 15 models. While the majority of our readers are probably Android users, it will still be interesting to see what Apple could bring to the table.
This is because handset makers usually “borrow” ideas from each other for future handsets, so it will be fun to see if Apple could come up with any hardware or software innovations that could trickle down to future Android phones, or see if Apple has borrowed some ideas from existing Android devices.
The event will also most likely see Apple introduce their next-gen smartwatches, like the Apple Watch Series 9. The rumors are claiming we might not see a refresh to the Apple Watch Ultra just yet, so maybe we won’t be seeing it. Also, there are rumors that Apple could introduce more USB-C compatible products, like a new USB-C case for its AirPods and also maybe announce the adoption of USB-C for its iPhones.
