Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S23 FE soon. The handset has been designed to be a lower-cost alternative to the flagship Galaxy S23, but how much cheaper will it be? Obviously it has to be cheaper enough for people to be willing to give up some specs and features, and thanks to leaked pricing, it could be quite a bargain.
According to a report from MySmartPrice, it appears that the US pricing of the Galaxy S23 FE is said to be set at $599. For context, the base Galaxy S23 model in the US is priced starting at $749, so it will be cheaper by about $150. Of course, it should be noted that the Galaxy S23 does receive discounts from time to time, but at least based on RRP, the FE model will be the cheaper alternative.
In terms of specs, we have heard the rumors that Samsung could return to Exynos and Qualcomm variants of the phone depending on the market it launches in. Other rumored specs include a 6.4-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and a triple camera setup on the back with a 50MP main shooter.
Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed the launch of the phone, but it is largely expected to make its debut this October, so hopefully we’ll have the details in the coming weeks.
