The OpenPlus Open was just spotted in the wild for the first time

OnePlus is working on a foldable phone, but when exactly it will launch remains to be seen. We’ve seen renders of the handset in the past, but how will it look like in real life? Thanks to Indian actress Anushka Sharma, we might have a better idea.

This is according to a video posted onto the Instant Bollywood Instagram account in which the paparazzi were taking photos and videos of the actress in her car. In the video, she is seen carrying a handset that looks remarkably similar to the renders we’ve seen of the handset in the past.

The video shows the phone in its folded state, and later on the actress unfolds it, confirming that it is indeed a foldable phone. Unfortunately the videos don’t really show too many details, but it does give us a better idea of how the phone could look like in real life.

The OnePlus Open was initially rumored to launch in August, but it was later reported that due to QC issues, the launch could have been delayed. Seeing as we’re reaching the end of the year in a couple more months, we’re not sure if OnePlus still plans to launch the phone this year or if it could end up being pushed to early 2024, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
