With more than 3,000 games in its library, it’s safe to say that Google Play Games has a wide range of different titles for different tastes. As such, Google recently announced that it was bringing over new games to Google Play Games for PC, in addition to some new and useful features.
Users can now play fan-favourites Clash of Clans and Clash Royale on Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs via Google Play Games for PC, and Google assures players that their progress remains synced whether they decide to play on other devices such as phones and Chromebooks.
Play Games for PC now also includes a new search feature that helps users easily and quickly find specific titles – users can now access an “All Games” section which includes a search bar. Controller support has also been updated for select games including titles like Asphalt 9: Legends and BADLAND, which will be able to work with Xbox Series S|X, Xbox One, PS5 and PS4 controllers.
Finally, Google Play Games now features 4K screen resolution for supported monitors, along with the option to select between different screen resolutions, by simply pressing Shift + Tab in any game.
