While the general reaction to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet on the Nintendo Switch has been somewhat mixed at times, it hasn’t slowed down Gamefreak from capitalizing on the game’s undeniable popularity, especially with the launch of downloadable content following the game’s release last year.
With that in mind, Pokenthusiasts can look forward to a new instalment, which is scheduled to arrive in a couple of months. The Pokemon Company recently announced the latest addition to Scarlet and Violet’s DLC via its official social media page.

Known as “The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk”, the DLC will be available starting on December 14. Keeping in line with the game’s theme, players can visit the Blueberry Academy as an exchange student, although we all know that the main focus of this chapter will be the Pokemon battles.
In other recent Nintendo news, a recent patent shows that the company is playing around with a unique hardware design that involves multiple screens, with a removable folding mechanism, although a design patent does not necessarily mean that it’ll see the light of day.
